Building Element Info - Attributes

Contains controls for changing the element symbology (level, color, line style and line weight) and settings that determine how the element behaves.

SettingDescription
Symbology
  • Level — Sets the level on which the element is placed.
  • Color — Sets the color of the element. Color is stored as a value in the 0-255 range.
  • Style — Sets the style of the element. A standard line style is stored as a value in the 0-7 range.
  • Weight — Sets the line weight of the element. Line weight is stored as a value in the 0-31 range, where 0 is lightest (narrowest) and 31 is heaviest.
Behavior
  • Graphic Group — If zero, the element is not in a graphic group. A non-zero value is the number of the graphic group which the element is a member. If the Graphic Group lock is on, the entire graphic group is analyzed.
  • Display
    • Faces – Sets the display to surfaces.
    • Edges – Sets the display to wireframe.
  • Assoc. Behavior
    • Active – Sets the element to active. Manipulating an individual element in a group affects the other members of the group.
    • Passive – Sets the element to passive. Manipulating an individual element in a group does not affect the other members of the group.
  • Is Space Bounding — Assigns the space bounding property to elements being used in creating Analytical Space Model (ASM) in energy analysis.
    • True – Sets the element property for space bounding surface of an element to bound or are between spaces.
    • False – The element space bounding property will not be processed in Analytical Space Model.
  • Form Perforation — Sets the distance which the cell/compound cell searches for another form.
    • Ordered – Form perforation distance is queried on ordered forms.
    • Individual – Form perforation distance is queried for individual forms.
  • Detail Level — Displays the detail level name. When active, click to select to set on from the pull-down options.
  • Shares Children - When on, the behavior properties follow across children elements of selected element feature.
